THE FAITH CLUB: A MUSLIM, A CHRISTIAN, A JEW--THREE WOMEN SEARCH FOR UNDERSTANDING
Ranya Idliby, Suzanne Oliver, Priscilla Warner
Initially, the idea behind establishing a faith club was simple--the three authors would collaborate on a children's book
emphasizing the connections among Judaism, Christianity, and Islam that would reinforce the common heritage the three
religions share. In post-9/11 America, however, things were more complicated. Almost from the start, conflicts emerged.
But the authors persevered in sharing and communicating in spite of their differences, and grew not only to better
understanding of one another, but deeper commitment and awareness of their own faiths.

GREETERS AND FLOWERS NEEDED

The 2008 Greeter/Flower Charts are up in the West Narthex. Please take a moment to stop and sign up!

DAPC Announcements

The deacons deliver the chancel flowers to those who need a little cheer to brighten their day.  If you have donated the flowers for a specific Sunday and which to keep them, please notify Linda in the church office at (248) 546-8360.  She will notify the deacons of your wishes.

Let the church office know if you have had any changes in your phone number, address, or other information you think we may need.  And, due to privacy laws, it has become more difficult to find out who may be in a hospital, or their condition.

Please send comments/suggestions for web site to ElderJim
